  2. There is a ton of information available on the Internet to help you solve your tax problems. Some of it is good, and some of it is bad, and some of it will just plain get you in trouble.

Not so with this book. This book contains information on just about every tax problem you might have, not just audits. Not only does he show you what to do in these situations, he gives you practical written examples of correspondence you can copy and send to IRS to solve your specific problems.

One thing I liked about this book is that he also exposes various scams, like slave reparations and warns you against engaging in any of these “tax credits” because they aren’t real.

The information in this book will help you. Pilla is an expert in taxes, and he’s even testified before Congress because his expertise is so widely known.

One thing I would recommend is that you visit his website for the very latest information. Otherwise, you’ll find exactly what you need here to help you avoid taking small problems with the IRS and turning them into big problems.

  3. I have been fooling around with a so called “tax professional” for nearly eight weeks, trying to get him to contact the IRS and California Franchise Tax Board and get my penalty abated. One hour spent with this awesome book gave me the reasons and words to state my case for abatement.

    Buy it. Awesome.
